MegaSec Presents Keynote and Five Research Papers at NLPAI 2026 in China

We are proud to share that the MegaSec team has successfully concluded its participation in the 7th International Conference on Natural Language Processing and Artificial Intelligence (NLPAI2026), held on July 10–13 in Urumqi, China, and jointly organized by Xinjiang University and Sichuan University.

As an invited Keynote Speaker, Samir Rustamov, Head of MegaSec’s AI Laboratory and Professor at ADA University, delivered his presentation, “From Lab to Reality: Building Practical Speech Recognition Systems,” highlighting the transformation of speech recognition technologies from laboratory research into practical real-world applications.

During the conference, our team also presented five scientific papers:

• A Hybrid Search System for Academic Library Discovery Using BGE-M3 and LLM-Based Agents

• AI-Augmented Explainable University Major Recommendation for Azerbaijani Higher Education via LLM-Assisted RIASEC Taxonomy Construction and Agent-Based Personalized Guidance

• ASR for Low-Resource Languages: The Case of Azerbaijani

• Exploring the Use of Knowledge Graphs in Enhancing Natural Language Understanding for Conversational AI

• Multimodal Fake-Information Detection for Low-Resource Languages: The Case of Azerbaijani

All accepted papers will be published in the ACM International Conference Proceedings (ISBN: 979-8-4007-2497-8), archived in the ACM Digital Library, and indexed in Ei Compendex and Scopus.

These achievements reflect MegaSec’s ongoing commitment to advancing AI and NLP technologies for Azerbaijani and other low-resource languages.
